THE POWER OF HYDRATION. Young runners power through at the Powerade Hydration Station during the 20th Annual McDonald’s Race against Crime 2K/5K held March 23, 2019 at McDonald’s Agana.

Coca-Cola, the exclusive beverage partner of McDonald’s, hydrated the runners at the 20th Annual McDonald’s Race against Crime 2K/5K. held at the fast food chain’s Agana location on March 23, 2019.

The beverage company served ice cold Powerade at the finish line and an array of 300mL Coke, Sprite and Fanta to treat runners, volunteers, and organizers of the now two-decade old fundraiser.

Proceeds of the event will benefit Guam Crime Stoppers.

RACE DIRECTOR’S CHOICE. Taking a hydration break from his duties as race director of McDonald’s Race against Crime 2K/5K, Guam Running Club President and Director Richard Taitague raises a cup of Powerade.

RUNNING CIRCUIT REGULAR’S FAVORITE. Jun Suk Kim, avid runner and owner of Lighthouse Restaurant at Chamorro Village flashes the peace sign after finishing the 5K course of the 20th Annual McDonald’s Race against Crime 2K/5K.

RUNNERS’ TREATS. Coca-Cola and Powerade treated runners to a spread of 300mL Coke, Sprite, and Fanta and the ice-cold sports drink at the conclusion of the 20th Annual McDonald’s Race against Crime 2K/5K.
